I was finally able to grow a pair and asked out a girl who had a huge crush on me (she said yes McMike). It's only been a day and I have no idea where I should go with the relationship, but we live near by and the upcoming three day weekend does present many different opportunities! Wish me luck Oppo!

I used to suggest movies, but I learned over the years that if it's your first outing, somewhere where you can interact works better. With a show the main problem is you're together but not really interacting.

The girl I'm talking about has been on my scopes for over a year but she had a boyfriend until a few months ago. I've seen her a few times since then and since she's in one of my father's choirs, will see her again soon and pop the question.

Good Luck ... now, this may be a risky move but the potential payoff is huge. Ask the young lady if she has read any good books lately. If one of those happens to be oh ... say ... "50 Shades of Gray" then follow up with something like "Ah, I've heard if it - did you like it?". If she did not, change the subject quickly. If she gives you a wicked grin and a wink you're in for one hell of a ride!
